your funny(always a chance im right)..when you looked at it you should have seen about the 1/2" of the top hat that the top of the spring fits in to then you would have seen the 1.5" spacer directly on top of that then on top of that is the body of the truck.
I didn't burn what I saw into memory, thus the reason you could be right. How would I know that spacers havn't been added or have replaced the welded top hats I believe I saw. I never said I was 100% sure:

So maybe I should cliff note for the on-lookers-
I looked and don't remember seeing any spacers. It actually looked as if the top hats had been cut and re-welded to lift the body. If you don't believe I looked, refer to the picture of me looking at the suspension in question.
