Right on Dave!! I guess the heat wasn't a factor for him that night.

 

It was pretty hot earlier. The car was pulling timing during the time trials. But between the weather cooling off later in the night and me keeping the hood up the entire time it never gave me any more problems.

 

She looked good going around the track.

Sorry I didn't get better shots. My telephoto lens is just entirely too slow for me to attempt low light handheld shots.

 

No big deal. Better shots would've just shown the dirt.

I wanted to meet you afterwards (since I never have) but you must've left.

 

Yeah I rode with Shawn and afterwards we just went home.

I leave mine in 3rd gear, but my motor has the lowere end torque for it. And I finished third. Yeah for me. haha. Now if I can just beat that damn VW. GS LS-VTEC. Let grudge match again next week. I want a run where you dont have any problems. Should be a lot closer then. Your really good suspension vs. My low end torque.

 

my car did ok. wish they would have gave me a little bit of a head start with the s2k near the end... that guy with the teg, his car was knocking come ing out of turn 2 the he got into the third turn then downshifted and blew the number 1 rod out of the block

 

if you pull your car in 2nd gear while your speed exceeds the top of your 2nd gear, your motor's revolutions will be mechanically forced to spin at that rpm through the transmission, another example, if his 2nd gear goes to 55 at most, and he pulls it in 2nd gear going 65, its like forcing your motor to spin at 10k rpms, the revlimiter isn't going to do shit...
