i'm assuming you're trying to make a joke? social games played with microlimits don't get raked and even if they did the 50 cents that gets raked from the "monster" pots there wouldn't garner any police attention.

I can even say. hey guys i host 5/10 nl at my place every friday and saturday night. I charge a 5% rake that caps at $5. Have about 20 regulars, 2 tables with dedicated dealers.

A game like that, you would have to be cautious on who found out about it because it would get you in trouble. The buyin for a game like that is a grand. That's at the very least 10 times more than anything people are talking about here, in some cases is 100 times more.

I've been a regular in a game hosted by the cheif of police for almost 2 years. The stakes are higher than anything being talked about here, and the topic of what's legal, what isn't, what the cops would bust a place for, which games have been busted recently etc have all been discussed multiple times. Give me a little credit I think I know more about this than you would.

so any poker games? I think the main problem is finding a location. no one wants a bunch of strangers from dragva to go to their house. I wish there was just some neutral location where we could all meet at and play hold'em
