Hey man yeah that was me the day on 17. Wish we could of gotten a good run in but yeah to many cops and traffic. I have heard your car was fast, i just got mine not to long ago and its got some mods but nothin real major. You work with a couple of buddies of mine up at hall ford. Your TA will look badass when all the body work is done. Would like to get a run in when you got it all finished. Sounded good though man, im sure everyone around us was pissed cuz of how loud the cars were but oh well fuckem.

your car looks sharp as well. the Zo6 wheels look pimp on it.

would be nice to get a good run in. dont worry i wont spray lol. well i used to work at hall i left about 2 months ago. Johnny pissed me off to the point of no return. Verbal abuse just gets tiring ya know?

well the body work is currently finished now im waiting for my paint guy in the next few weeks to finish her all up. its very possible the car will be down afterwards until mid-late october. Im currently working with a guy on LS1tech and we are talking about trading straight up my 6 speed swap for his TH400 with a 3800 stall.....

the past few times at the track i have come to the harsh realization that i just cant shift as fast as the car really is. mainly because i cant power shift into third or 4th (aluminum forks) big recommendation dont powershift into 3rd or 4th..... I have been through 3 trannies and at 508 hp they go quick.

if you need any help with modding or tech help dont be afraid to ask i have a place to do work and i do it on the side and i dont mind helping out at all..... Take care

Yeah there are not to many people around here that want to work on LS1's. But yeah the best time my car ran was a 12.4 with drags on it. I need to gear it down now. Its got a 4.10 with a 3200 stall and the gear just eats up the gas and i cant get any traction out the whole if i nail it. It has some suspension stuff like sub connecters and adjustable torque arm but thats about it. I am really tryin to put in a cam just dont have the money right now and dont know anyone who would do it, I dont trust myself enough to do it. But thanks for the compliments on my car i wish there were more ta's around here to represent but I am just tryin to do what i can. I have ran out of ideas for mods besides going internal, its got all the bolt ons already so i guess the cam, nitrous, or heads would be next but all cost money. But your car will be pretty sick, i'm anxious to see it when its all done and yeah i wouldnt stand a chance if you sprayed.

actually i would stick with 4.10's if you gfo to the track regularly. 12.4's is a good number for what you have. My buddy sam is currently running 12.0's with little more than you have and is mostly weight reduction.

When it comes down to time to do your cam let me know i dont mind helping or doing it for you. i do run the business on the side for now. and im NO Where near as expensive as any shop. plus i can help you decide on a good size am that will make good power for what you. but definately after the cam i have the guy to tune the car for it as well.

my current mod list below..... well what i can think of.

Trex Cam, Texas Speed heads, Mahle forged pistons with valve reliefs, Rollmaster double roller chain, ARP cracked rod bolts, ARP Head studs, Hardened Pushrods, 921 valvesprings, poly engine mounts, Ported TB, Reichard Racing Aluminum P/S pulley, walbro 255lph intank pump
200 shot of spray for track (not tested yet)
100 street (tested over 200 times) LOL

Weld Prostars with MT Drag radials 275/60/15
ford 9" rear 4.11 gears
Spohn Crossmember tq arm, LCA's, pan hard bar
BMR sub frame connectors
Hal Shocks and springs on all 4 corners

Spec Stage 5 clutch
Pro 5.0 shifter
poly trans mount

next step in my opinion and it would help you get traction. Buy some Spohn Adjustable Lower Control Arms, and Lower Control arm Relocation brackets. as well as an adjustable panhard bar..... I have a rear end girdle for sale too, it will stiffen up the rear some and you will have less chance of breaking the rear as well.

I have a set of non adjustable control arms for sale right now tho. have about 20 miles on em lol. i need adjustable my 9" is too far back.

Joe why are you sellin the TA?

Honestly because I'm at a point now where I can sell it and pay off some bills. Plus it sits and I pay ~$500 a month on it for it to sit. I've driven it about 400 miles in the last 6 months. I think I'm gonna make my Nova fast now.
