April 6th Princeton, WV, Mercer County Airport Auto-X
eh.... who knows... maybe they like it all sweaty and nasty. you know, there are peepz out there that are into that stuff.
here's how the addiction/obsession begins:
1st, you get sick of the loaner helmet and buy one of your own
2nd, you get tired of your all-season "performance" tires and buy something more grippy
3rd, you get tired of the shoe-polish shit they write the number on your car so, you invest in a nice set of magnetic letters.
4th, you get better and better and start to talk madd shit
5th, you recruit people like it's your 2nd job cuz you wanna show others how good you are
6th, you start a caravan of your own
7th, you go poop
i thinks das about it

haha. i'm almost at stage 1. altho i just wanna swap out my snow tires for "real" tires. (sidenote: are azenis any good in the rain?) i'm already tired of the shoe polish cuz it's still on my car... too lazy to scrape it out. so i guess technically, i'm at stage 3, haha. all that in 1 session... now if only i could get my car working right....
Azenis are good in small amounts of slow falling rain. Hit anything over an 1/8th an inch of standing water while going 50+ and HOLD THE FUCK ON! Ive hydroplanned maybe three times with them and have driven in lots of rain so they arent that bad. Just dont fuck around with snow...
i wouldnt recommend azenis to be equipped on a daily driven vehicle. the tread wear issue.... i mean it will work but it will wear out relatively fast imo.
matt parker(parknasty) has a set on his daily driven 4th gen vtec prelude... mounted on rota slipstreams right now.
just get something "in-between" for now.

the tire-subject has been beaten to death but imo, a good "in-between" tire set would be....(cheap price, decent grip, decent wear, daily driveablity)
kumho 712 ecsta supra - best bang for yo dough'
bridgestone potenza re740 - a lil' mo' expensive, but worth it

werd i'm there ... even with my shitty old tires
oh and i'm new here too so whats up all ... and about the tire thing if you enjoy your belts not seperating don't get kumhos. within 2 days of getting my suspension finished i had 3 bubbles from that shit .... then i find out when looking for new tires that its a "common problem with them"
