Relatively local guy runs 5's@ 24X. But streetbikes (if you wanna call em that) are in the mid-upper 7s. I haven't seen anything fast at Richmond. Most go to MIR.

that's fast for richmond.

i thought cars that fast were only allowed to run the 1/8th.

thats what i was always told also. If i was running a 8, i would not run the 1/4 at richmond..i would at least go to vmp

Normally your right... 9.0's is the cutoff....

Every now and again a 8 sec pass is slipped in during a grudge run....

Two years ago there was a 8.40 stang and 8.90 Nova getting it on...

Man that looked good....

Point is low 9's on a bike should be EASY... Little weight and good brakes? Come on.....

Your right, I was a bit concerned on my 1st pass at Richmond. But it was definitely sufficient, just gotta actually get on the brakes unlike at VMP where you can just coast it out.
