Um, no. An f150 reg cab with a Navi 4v in it, with a paxton supercharger, would be putting over 400hp and 450lbs tq, almost the same as a Lightning.
And thats all for about $6k more or less, and without the Lightning insurance payment.

we do, but not to full size trucks with warrentys. I mean its your choice, but if your gonna ruin something, ruin something that already has no value....Not saying you wont succed, but dont let it become a driveway project that you end up selling for pennies....its a waste of a truck to me.

Not to be a dick, but some people actually have the money to complete a project, I dont know if he's one of them though....And I'm sure hoping he's not going to attempt it himself after reading some of his posts. His truck is 4 yrs old now, the warranty can't be good unles he got it extended. Having a v8 in the truck could only help when its resold, I'd never buy a fullsize with a v6.

If you do a sc/turbo navi motor you better save a few bucks for forged internals as well.

Wish you all the best with your project, but I almost guarantee at some point you will realize it would have been a better idea to just get a Lightning.

You're wasting your money and time. If you want a cool truck just buy a lightning and make it very fast... that or get an older truck as a "project"

Something like this would look badass.

You'd be suprised how much more power the blocks can hold using a turbo instead of a supercharger. Recently the stock motor record was set on a lightning with a GT42 turbo on a completely stock engine. 730WHP:

now imagine the power a built 5.4 with ported 4V heads and turbo cams would put out. An easy 1000whp. If I had the money that setup would be in my truck.

.. with a nasty suspension, weaker drivetrain, and cast internals.

GENIUS!
