My favorite tire and a tire that is used in many spec racing classes is the toyo proxes RA1. This is a streetable tire and they have amazing grip for a "DOT" approved tire. I would not recommend them for one reason the tread life. But i run these on my race-car and they are amazing.

Just a thought

What size are you looking for?? The trick size (for light cars) is the Falken 615 in the 205/40/16!!!!! Is just slightly narrower than the 205/50/15, BUT its lighter and has a smaller diameter that will help the car pull much harder. Open diff one wheel burnouts RULE!!!

No but seriousley that was the tire that was on the fastest Solo2 STS car this year at Nationals (89 Civic Si). We will be running them as track tires and as our AutoX setup as well.

Aren't these the tires you had balanced like 10 times in 6 months?

i was given a set in order to gather data for rating other than the standard "as featured on Pimp My Ride" and so far, so good. at full depth they feel squidgy (as to be expected). now that i've put some miles on them and have been putting them through the paces, they have more grip at or before 'the limit' and they break-away nicely after that. the limit has also been somewhat extended after the tread was worn-in, but i don't think that shaving them would be worthwhile for a street tire. the price is phenominal, they look good, they don't fall short in the physical size department (i.e.; crosswidth...measured at the tread, not off of the rim protection protrusion) as compared to kumhos (mostly everything other than the victoracers and MX's) and even the goodyear F1. in the rain, i don't feel insecure, but i haven't driven much in the rain since i got these: not at the limit anyway.

No only once... the steering wheel vibration was mostly feedback from the roads... on super smooth roads it's fine. I thought the wheel weights flung off again, but they didn't.
