wait so what do they do with the sportbikes? yell at you to pull over? or just radio to other patrol cars etc to pull u over? or just copy down your plates?
cuz it would be pretty easy to run one of them off the road with a car ( i would assume some people are crazy enough to do this)

in some instances they do use confiscated cars and trucks for undercover police work and there's no denying that. Sportbikes on the other hand.......all urban legend. I've heard a couple dozen versions of the undercover sportbike story from 97 on. The bikes ranged from fzr600's in the 90's to Busas more recently. The closest any of them that have been true were cops having bikes that were painted their PD's colors for promotional reasons or people mistaking the BMW's for sportbikes.
