MY dad's been a Chrysler/Dodge man since back in the day. I've never seen him have a major problem with any of his vehicles. The worst one was the cats clogging up and we just gutted those on his old Ram. I really like Dodge and would buy another one if I didn't have enough toys already. I love the new Rams.

 

300hp in a fwd 4 cyl? Good thing its got a warranty because it will be in the shop most of its life. Thats definately some unheard of power numbers but is the Neon chasis and drivetrain going to be able to handle that? Make them AWD like how Chrysler used to offer andsuddenly thr WRX and EVO won't be so untouchable.

 

but it only had warrenty up to stage 2 becasue after that read closly it has cat elimantor pipe

 

dodge is offereing a limited slip differential...for those with March 2003 SCC turn to page 176 where they boast about their upgrades and specificially say in the article "The Dodge SRT-4 wasn't even in production yet and already Mopar was ready to show off what it could do to make the super neon faster. OK, we were glad to see the very necessary Quaife limited slip on display..."

so they didn't forget about it...but i take it you have to buy it...doesnt come stock...oh well its alteast its an option

I was watching car and driver this morning and they were saying that in stock trim a srt 4 out accellerates a WRX and a 350z!!! They put down more than 215hp on their dyno and ran a 14.0 at the track! Im scared but just cause im stock.

SRT-4's are bad ass. It looks like the return of the Turbo Dodge is coming back. Hells yeah. 12's for $1000 in mods.

well they knocked it up from 130? to 215 and didn't put it in..
the one car and driver test drove lit up one tire around every turn they took

1. the transaxles and rest of the necessary mounts held up decent in the 250+ HP omni's, lancers, ect., and that technology is now 18 years old
2. who the hell says a wrx is untouchable?
ur blue 4 door family sedan would wax a wrx down the interstate.. or i hope it would
