Yo its Dj, the guy with the black GSX. I work for circuit city in the install bay. Also I have done 2 of my friends mr2s personally. A 91 toyota mr2 na and a 92 mr2 na. Since the wires are cut all that needs to soldered in would be to strip the wires since the harness is gone and solder em to:
A: A toyota METRA harness and then connect to an alpine smart harness to the actual head unit (you dont need the harness it comes with). This means that anytime you wanted to exchange the head unit, just clipout the alpine smart harness and clip in any panasonic, JVC, aiwa (any head unit) smart harness and no wiring ever needed again.
OR
B: We just solder up the harness your alpine came with straight to the wires. However when if you ever decide to do another head unit, you will need to rewire....
