Either car I pick won't be my daily, it'll be a garage queen...so i'm not too worried about it falling apart or breaking...I'm not even interested in making a lot of power out of an FD, I just love the way they look....I'll more than likely get another R because I feel like an idiot everyday for getting rid of mine...thanks for all the input everyone, i appreciate it

 

I was wondering about this as well, just to up the reliability...and there are a ton of FD's with blown motors for sale...what kind motor is that? a v8 of some sort i'm guessing?

 

LS1... but if you want that in a light ass car, might as well get a miata. you'll have a reliable ass motor that you can beat up until up until you can afford the LS1 swap.

 

but miatas look nowhere near as appealing as rx7's....the looks of the rx7 are what attracts me to them..but i get your point...
