If you had a Built 306 Block.....what would you do?
Expect to be down for a bit when installing a turbo. The ease of installation with a SC. I have had both on my V8s. And am the same boat when looking at my stang on what I am going to do with that. Also remember more hp more parts going to break. You want a 500 hp Fox. Hows your tranny. All i am prob going to do with my fox is intake, TW heads and a Novi or Vortech(Want a 400+ rwhp car). GL with what ever you choose. And i ve been working on my turbo firebird for over a yr now and its a slow process. New motor, trannies, fuel sys, and etc. Hope your patient. GL

this time,i want to have a solid motor, with a solid structure.
as far as building a 500hp fox,i know i can do it either way,and be successful, but i see myself eclipsing that mark with a turbo, but then again, like the other guy said, shit starts to break.

i know parts are going to break.
i plan on getting a TKO500 tranny,9'' rear end,sub frame connectors,etc.
im not just gonna throw a powerhouse in there, and beat on it...although i loved the fact that i could do that in my honda, and only have to worry about the clutch going out.
i think dss uses a stock block or a "sportsman block" with just a main girdle, which all it does it hold the pieces togeather when it breaks. and you dont need a 9", save the money and just build the 8.8
