New tint law?
i have gotten 4 tint tickets in Va beach and the cops actually laughed at me the last time and said i could keep it as long as i keep paying the court for it .. VA courts love a free paycheck..
i was wondering though if our windows arent allowed to be too dark why are 1/2 the cops cars tinted ..their vehicles are supposed to follow the same state and city guidelines as everyone else.

As long as you don't have your windshield tinted, you won't be ordered to remove the tint. I've had 3 or 4 tint tickets now, just prepay them. They do however, go on your driving record.....although no points are given. If your in court with 3 or 4 previous tint tickets the judge is likely to assess a hefty fine.
In response to the earlier post of being towed with tinted windows. Technically the police can arrest you and tow your car for a traffic ticket. They seldom do because of the hassle and negative publicity.......you can thank the US Supreme Court for that one.

i think we should be able to go as dark as the FFC police officers....
i think its bs they can give us tickets for tint but then you see them chillin with all the windows with 20% or darker on there cop cars.
