Here's my opinions. Remember, they are only opinions:

EVO 8 or 9- If I totalled my car tomorrow, there's a high chance of me picking up an MR. If you have never driven an Evo, please do so. Plus it has a warranty!!
S2000- I respect them for what they are, but I don't know if I could live with one.
SRT-4:- Again, I respect the car for all it does bring to the table.
97 TT 6spd supra- If you can find a good one, go for it!!
RX8: Get this out of the running, not even in the same class as the others.
C5 Vette (targa)- Phenominal performers
330ci (02-03)- Looks good and has a good long warranty
M3 (97-99)- Good, but expensive, aftermarket for it. And turbo kits are coming down everyday.

the problem with the rotary is the fact that its a rotary. ive got minimal experience with them, and from the exp. i do have, its made me not want to mod one. too many problems, too unreliable. I want a car i can hold only for a long, long time. another big factor in this is interior, im a biiiiig fan of a cars interior. its gotta make me feel like being in the car. I dont care if i can pull 40 bajillion G's and 0-60 in 1.2 seconds if i dislike the interior, count me out, thats my main problem with the vette, the c5's insides look cheesy and ill-thought out. I hate the way the seats look/feel, and the steering wheel is large and cumbersome. plus, the upkeep on that car is rediculous. the tires alone could feed a small country.

my problem is the same with EVO and STI, they are equally unimpresive (interior wise). But because of so many of your opinions favor the Evo's im willing to actually check one out. does anyone here own a lightly modded evo that would take me for a spin/check out the car in person? I dislike the pressure from car salesmen, they are pushy and annoying.

for now, im deleting the RX8 and M3. the rx is a rotary and ill want to mod my car, and the M3 is very expensive to own and upkeep. I dont mind initial cost, but its the little things that will get you. I want a decent appt and not be tight on money at all.

and, i suppose i should delete the vette even though I LOVE its exterior, the interior kinda reminds me of every other chevy vehicle. cheap. why cheap? the climate control is kinda well, blah, the seats, and the steering wheel all turn me off.

and the SRT-4 while i respect the power they bring, and the modditability, its handling is way off from what im looking for, its also kinda ugly IMO. thanks and keep comments and opinions of the cars coming.

Best interiors come from Audi. Hands down. Go check out an A4 or even an S4.

How is the upkeep on the Vette rediculous?? Good Tires arent cheap for it I give you that but what do you expect for 275 40 18's in the back?? Besides if you want to get a cheaper tire they make Kumo's for 140.00 for it.. I personally would want KDW's in the back.. they run 240.00.. Besides the tires I dont understand what else is so bad about the upkeep?? You can get front and rear brake pads at advance auto with lifetime warrenty for 50-60 bucks, the motor uses 5w30 oil, uses copper spark plugs like a NGK TR55, the air filter from k@n is 45.00.. what is so rediculous about that?? The car has 350hp and gets 30mpg on the highway!! There is a guy on Tidewaterracing selling his 97 for 17,000 with 70k miles, 6 speed, silver exterior black interior, targa top, y2k wheels.. the vette dynoed 325 rwhp and 345 rwtq.. here is the link if you want to check it out.. http://www.tidewaterracing.com/forum...threadid=26466
