I am going to hold off on a bike for a little bit and pay of some debt. Hopefully I can get one before the summer is over.

I can't knock that decision!

Don't buy one until your finances allow for it. As much as I don't want to say this, the smart decision would be to pay all your debt down and buy one in the cooler weather when no one else is riding. You'll save yourself a fortune that way! Then be ready for next summer.

Don't try to buy in the peak if you're stretching yourself. Prices are the highest they'll get when the weather is nice!
