Improper Muffler Ticket - Help me out
What I have noticed over the past few month's after basically studying cops, If you act scared, you're pretty much telling them you have something to hide. Of course having a loud exhaust you want to hide from a cop but unfortunatley, you just can't. Just drive normal, cause when you act scared. That's how a cop can tell you have something to hide or you've been doing something wrong. That's how they get alot of people. Get where I'm going with this?
There's no way he could've thought I was trying to hide anything. Going 20-25mph around a corner after having come from a stop light is normal.
And Odyssey, I don't know how much tickets for exhaust cost here. I believe there's some number I have to call to get the price of my ticket, or I have to check online. I've done neither, and the price isn't on the ticket, so I don't know.

< Lynchburg.....but whats strange is when I just get this 95 civic ex, put aem cai, greddy header, and 2.5 exhuast piping, and beat 96 civic ex with b18c1, and bolt ons.....WTF is up witht that. I thought id only be able to beat that when the turbo goes on this weekend...thats freakin strange..
I've come to the decision of just paying off the ticket but not actually "fixing" my exhaust system. I'd honestly be miserable if I had to say goodbye to the sound of my muffler. So I'll just pay off as many exhaust tickets as I have to. I've actually driven by lots of cops since I had my exhaust system installed. Been in front of them, behind, passing them in the fast lane, etc. I just happened to get snagged by one of the assholes. It'll probably happen again and again, but I'll just have to deal with it, because I don't want to quiet my muffler.
Thanks guys for all the help.

take off the axleback.
put on the stock muffler.
take a picture
take off teh stock muffler.
put your axleback back on
drive a friends car to court with the picture
that seems to make a lot more sense then paying a $90 ticket just to stick it to the man.
That's a lot more hassle than just paying the ticket. I'll be honest and say that when it comes to car knowledge, I've probably only tipped the surface. Sure, I know more than the average person does, but I don't know how to replace a muffler.
Not to mention I don't even have the stock muffler anymore.
