Regardless of thieves or my wife, I might just do another Honda project. I'm going to sell my '66 Mustang GT that's in my back yard and then I can park whatever car I go with back there and close the fence/gate. My next car is NOT going to be some boring family car, but I do have a tight budget to maintain. We'll see. I've gotta put a nice wax job on the Stang and post up some pics here.

Insurance co. is gonna wait 2-3 weeks to see if it pops back up. I know their just following procedure, but I told the guy that it most likely won't pop back up, because of the other ongoing cases in this area, and even if it does it's gonna be completely stripped down. = a total loss. So, they gave me a rental car, a Cobalt LS (what a plastic piece of crap) while we wait. When they figure out that it's a total loss, they'll base the value of the car on what I did to it and what it would sell for in this area. I still owed 9K on it, so I'm just hoping to be clear of any payment. New project to come....

I'm with USAA as well. My case manager didn't give me a date, so I'm going to call back next thurs or fri and see if he can give me any more info.
JDM DC4, is USAA cutting you the check. I've got my Si loan with them as well as my insurance, so if I get cut a check I might just use that towards my next car instead of paying off the existing loan. If I don't do another honda project, I'm thinking of a WRX as well. Next in line would be a GTI 1.8T. The 240's got pretty good part support and I'm not against them in any way, I just really felt at home in my honda.
