1. No one has stated wether or not we were comparing an F4i or an RR.
2. I'd like to know how many people in here that have voted one way or the other have ridden BOTH before they came to their decisions..........some have, as they posted so.
EVERY 600cc class modern sportbike is very close to the next, with subtle differences between.
It depends on what you want it do, look like and feel while you are on it. Different people are different. Ride them both and come to a decision for YOURSELF!
I've ridden different F4's, F4i's, RR's and Gixxer's....................they all have good and bad points.
If you want a gas tank that is larger than life go for the gixxer, if you want a wheelie machine go for the gixxer.
If you want unsurpassed reliability and style as well as speed (something that was BUILT to RACE) go with the RR.
If you wanna be able to keep up with ANY other 600 bike out there (on the street) as well as stay COMFY while doing it then go with the F4i.
Research reasearch research...........................once you buy it it's what you've got, so make sure it's what you want before you get it.

I only made this thread to see if i could get owner reaction. Believe me I investigate everything before i make a move, and i do mean everything. Guess certain military training has affect my thought processes
and it is the RR, I did not like the F4's

if you want owner reaction then.... i own a 2005 suzuki gsxr 600 and i could not be more happy, it has great power, handling, and everything it is a very well rounded bike. I believe that the gixxer is a bike that you will not out ride for quite sometime so there is no need to upgrade.
id go with the gixx as well.
they redid alot of it for the 06. i dont know if the RR has a slipper cluth as well, but it'll really help control when downshifting.
LOOKS wise id go with the yamiR6
but im another partial to suzuki
goes with your price and looks i guess,... because performance wise they are all so close to really tell unless your going to be alot more than a casual rider.
