You know just as well as I do tuned cars get pulled for just about anything.
A stock benz with 20% stands about that same percent of getting pulled for tint alone.
Why bother giving the "possible established" guy in the benz a ticket for tint when they can wait 20 mins and give a young "potentially wreckless" tuner 5 tickets + a tint ticket.

I had 35% all around on my 86 Trans Am and never had any issue with cops,

I have 20% on my white STi and have never got hasseled by cops except at the oceanfront. I've been pulled over several times for other things and have never gotten a word on my tint. My car stands out a bit too aside from the tint (ie. CF hood, gold wheels...etc). Just get 20% and you'll be fine, plus anything lighter on white looks like crap!
side note: my exhaust looks stock which keeps a lot of cops off my ass (borla hush)

I have a waiver that lets me have 35% all the way around. I did the back at 5% because they cant test it, and it helps make the sides darker. My whole front windshield is at 43%
