Hey Lauren...they're supposed to have some "Mini" car chases in Markie Mark's new movie "The Italian Job". And if you didn't know, there was one in "Bourne Identity".

I saw an old guy at the gas station last week with an old left hand drive Mini. I gave him props. It looked pretty cool.

 

I saw a couple screen shots from The Italian Job online. It looks pretty sweet. I would only see that movie for the car chases though, so I think I will just wait till it comes out on DVD. (The only thing in the theater right now that I have any interest in seeing is X2.)

In Bourne Identity they really beat the hell out of that car! Old skool Minis are sweet. Eventually I would like to have one, but not as a daily driver.

I have them, but they aren't on my car yet. I have to do a test strip to make sure I am ok with them first before I get them put on.

 

I saw a sooped up Mini at JMU last weekend. It had a kit and 2 sunroofs....crazy. Is that standard? He has a boosted 4 cyl. engine and a DTM exhaust. The funny thing was this guy was 6'3".LOL.

Yeah the sunroof is a dual pane and it's the standard sunroof that you get when you order one....the back is actually a moon roof and doesn't move. The front slides back. (I have one....I LOVE IT!!)

TJ drives mine sometimes....and he is 6'6". There is plenty of room for him in there.

 

You should just have it photoshopped on there rather than actually putting it on. I think it would be a good idea for you to "see" it before you decide. I personally detest racing stripes. But there's an exclusion clause for women in the Guide To Tasteless Car Mods. So I won't pick on you too bad.
