well basically, why don't you guys try and do the same thing. cops are normal people when they are off work, at least i know i am. i like to have just as much fun as anybody, but all you guys look at us like we're all assholes. but hey you cant win all the time.

 

That's a very good point stealth. And he's right, most of us are just normal people like you that like to relax and have a good time when we get off. Alot of us are car buffs and like to wrench on our cars on our days off just like you guys. Don't judge all of us because there are a few bad apples in the bunch.

 

hey man there are good cops and bad copsjust like good tuners and bad ones it does seem though if you lower your car and put a muffeler onit it youre much more likely to get pull i think its even comes down to an import domestic thing if i was doing 45 in a 35 and a mustang in front of me was doing 50 i belive i would get the ticket now im not a saying all cops are like that but i am saying i am get a 43 in lift kit on the hatch look out 11's here i come it's cool though i live i florida so no inspection yeh..love to all my homies i left behind.

you totally just contradicted my point. you said we all have to do the same thing assuming that we all hate all cops. i know that everyone is different. i have a bunch of friends myself that are cops, which i usually meet at work, and are really cool ppl.

 

well i personally think its a waste of time to pull us over cuz we aren't gonna change, it'l be more like catch us if you can sooner or later!

 

they need to start cracking down on the real crime around hampton. My grandfather owns a furniture store and it has been broken into 3 times in the past year. Maybe they should spend more time patroling trying to crack down on real crime.

 

on that note, i HEARD that va beach violent crime rate went up 40% in 2002. not sure if that is true, or the correct figure, but we all know how hard the va beach police work to keep those modified cars stock. maybe it's just me, but i think murders and rapes should be more focused on. but don't get me wrong, i'm not saying they don't do anything about it. but from us car ppl view point, we only see what we can see, not behind the scenes
