Umm look at my for sale thread. Great car, buy it . It handles great and with the traction control off you could slide it... I wouldnt do that alot cause tires arent cheap but it will get out on you for a little fun and if you know how to handle corners at high speeds.

The car has been a blast, I was never into infiniti and I was looking at an S2000 or the 350z.. well both dont have back seats and after I drove the G35 it felt better overall than a 350 or S2K and more luxurious with room for friends and luggage.

if you are willing to wait until about november, the new g35 is comin out, but if not, i would still go with the g35. its a lot more comfortable and has more luxury, but like people have said before, if you want to have more fun drivin and have the top down, the s2000 would win anyday.

Anyone know the "average" price on a USED G35?

 

Anyone test on track? HP, quarter mile? I know stats of an s2k, just nothing of a G35, i'm starting to really be interested though.

 

I'd say it would have similar but probably slower numbers to the 350Z. Its the same engine isn't it?

 

What do you like? Sports cars or sport luxury? A sports car like the S2K is going to be a very simple basic all about fun and performance car. As to where a G35 will have the nice interior with plenty of space and give you the comfortable feeling, great sound system and all the other functions. Which will not have the same amount of fun and performance as the pure sports car. G35 and 350Z just don't have the amount of performance I like so I went with a 00-03 S2K and am truly happy. I am a sports car guy though. Just my $.02 to help you with your decision.

 

If you go to test drive the S2K make sure you try the 00-03 and the 04-06.

 

i say go drive both... buy the one that you like the most and screw what other people think about it.

 

s2k = tools. Ive been next to so many s2ks with stickers glaore and a fuking huge auto meter tach and they never want to play.

 

G35....fuck an S2000
