It looks like the pad isn't coming in contact with the fins anymore...they look rusted. How many people here have tried to come to a complete stop just using the e-brake...thats gotta be how its like for this lady.

Oh, and you should've called Nash

OK first of all, just because the students aren't there any more doesn't mean teachers don't still have work days for a couple weeks after the end of the academic year. Second, it is NOT illegal for us to let her drive out of there like that. Had we not advised her that the vehicle was unsafe to drive, we could have been held accountable in a civil case had she been involved in an accident; however, there is no law stating that we must forbid a customer from driving if there is anything wrong with his or her vehicle. Why do you think people are allowed to drive around on rejection stickers?

Yup. The only time I seen a vehicle not released is where our State Inspector rejected it as it was unsafe. The customer argued and he called the trooper and the trooper told the man, drive it and I will impound it the second I pull you over, and ticket you, choice is yours.

I saw that a few times when I worked @ Pep Boys...fucking ridiculous.

A guy also came in and his rotor literally looked like a pizza cutter. I mean it tapered and everything.
