it might bog out though--i wheelied my buddies 01 r6 the other day and it did'nt bog down too bad. Turn the idle up a bit keeps you from throttle chopping.
how much throttle should i be at?

It depends on your gearing and how much tourqe your bike has. Go by trial and error and take baby steps. Listen to the motor every bike is different--there's certain rpm where when you drop the clutch in first gear it'll jump up nice and high. Don't ride the clutch out just drop it and remember to ease into the brake. You should just come out to our spot and ride wit us or if you know of any small sections of parking lots your way we can link up.

dont chop the throttle its hard but you gotta get over that initial fear of looping your head tells your wrist to cut the gas. Put some armor and give it a good deal of gas but don't chop it. There's a moment of great resistance in the start of the wheelie then the bike starts to float in balance point when you get real high and you pretty much control the rest from there with body movement throttle/brake inputs.
