How can a dealership do that. I worked at a Honda dealership selling cars in 05. We had deals that ended up falling through but we never took a car back because we never sold anything until finance was 100% complete. We took losses too. I had to sell a brand new 05 civic hybrid for $2500 below cost just to match a competitor. We didnt steal the car back. And anyways how do you sell a car for $10,000 less that what you were supposed to sell it for. Sales Managers in dealerships have computers that they do calculations on so they know that they are making good gross and then they sign the papers. THis is insane..i would shut them down if i could.

Lack of ethics. That is what this boils down to. What goes around comes around. Eventually they will pull this stunt with the wrong person, and they will get hung out to dry.
