Okay just to throw a lil fun into the thread, what would happen if you bought the B16 for 1100 and spent the other 2900 to build it or boost it or both. Then i am pretty sure the honder would be faster. That is saying that the SR would be 4000.

sr20's, the engine are MAYBE 3k... but I havnt seen them go that high yet... and I like the fact that you get an sr20, you get the neccesary fuel pump, intake, exhuast, turbo, and boost control and you have 300hp... whats not to love about it? and a turbo cost's about 700 compared to the ENTIRE kit for a honda.. unless you are mad good with a welder and pipe bending then you can probably buy a turbo and make the kit.. which would be cheaper and probably work better if you know what your doin with air flow...
No matter how many people will get on here and say that a honda will be faster... I will always go for the STOCK turbo engine's.. even though this is stock in japan.. and not the us it still has everything you need for high hp already in it.. no need to rebuild and waste the parts you just bought for 1100 dollars... and you dont have to worry about custom anything.. its all already on there.. just swap a big turbo.. and let the engine breath and you have your self a monster..
Turbofords rule!

I agree and would recommend the Nissan. Besides, where are you finding a B16A for $1100 shipped? The best deal I've found was $1800 shipped. Then you got to get it installed and buy a car to install it in. Once you do that, you won't have $2900 left over. Also, the nissan (205 HP 203 ft. lbs. torque stock @ 7psi) can easily create 300 HP when modified. B16A stock is 160hp,111tq. To get that thing near 300 HP would require extensive work. Oh, and what about FWD vs. RWD? No comparison..
