I'm out of the Honda game.....
I remember the one night I went out to Newport Newsto check out the racing scene (ie: standing in a boring parking lot for hours). My boy Pat had to fix something on his Eclipse when we got up w/ him. Then we were in a parking lot for over an hour while he fixed somebody else's Eclipse. Then when we got to Newport News, he had to fix something on Heat's Eclipse. It was a bad night for DSM's. And I felt bad for Pat too. 3 Eclipses in one night. That should tell ya something.
What Crankwalk is, is for some reason, the crankshaft bearings in these engines get wore down to the point that your crankshaft is flopping up and down with the pistons, you wont notice it at first, and then some day, your CSS will go off ever 15-30 minutes on the road and it'll shut your car off till it cools down, then you start it back up and it runs fine.
But after awhile, it starts banging around, screwing up the block, crank, internals just gone. If caught in time, you just need to rebuild the engine, but if not, then you gotta get a new engine. This is why alot of people replace the 95-99 engines with a 89-mid92 engine
