im in the same boat as the poster i need a car asap

 

I actually went there before I went to NFCU. Got denied with a quickness because I didn't have a cosigner.

 

Every loan I've had other than my first car loan was against the certificate I had in the bank. Borrowing against your own money = easy way to build credit. I'm really interested to see what my credit score is, but no idea how to go about doing that.

 

Yeah.. thats what was suggested to me to build my credit, but thats going to take too long, I have a car i'm looking at for a price thats pretty much a steal so i'm going to find a way..

still no luck though on the loan deal.

 

i have nfcu and 1st advantage they both are great to deal with and gave me low intrest loans

Go with Navy Federal. I was an E1 and I asked for $12,000 for a used car and I got approved the next day. $12,000 for 48 months at 4.9%.

They're opening two branches on the peninsula soon. One off Jefferson in Newport News and one on Magruder Blvd. and Executive Dr. in Hampton.

 

I believe they're opening one in new town area of Williamsburg as well.

 

yea well they said i'll need a sponsor, wether a friend or relative.. so.. i'm pretty much just fucked right now..

 

Yeah I know. I seen them building the one on Magruder when I used to live down there. Unfortunately, I moved up to Newport News, so now I'm waiting for something up this way.
