i didn't read the posts but there is NO legal limit for db's on an exhaust. it's called PROFILING. when i take my '67 ford galaxie 500 (2.5 in dual exhaust straight pipes) they never pull me over. i know the car is before the new emissions laws but they stop me all the time in my '92 integra with 2.25 in pipe with silencer, resonator, and muffler i get ticketed. bikes, jets, most trucks with straight pipes, and my other car (the galaxie) is louder than the integra. i just deal with it.

damn well idc im still goin for the loud and agressive sound...... do yall know wat a dc sports muffler will sound like straight back piping 2.25 inches? heres the link to the muffler. or what about the borla mufflers? thanks guys

93 dB is too fucking loud!!! dude that not good for your hearing. 93 dB is a little under the noise a jackhammer gives off. I guess if you wear ear plugs or noise cancelling (sp) headphone, thats not healthy you can cause permanet hearing loss.
