You could always call up a place. There should also be someone on here that works at a shop, that should have access ot the Virginia Official Safety Inspection Manual.

 

my srs light stayed on and i still passed inspection....i just put a piece of black electrical tape over it....everything else was fine

 

FOB, u got lucky.

Most State Inspectors will fail you on this. We fail 10/10 people at my job when it comes to SRS being on, simply because i dont want to hear about how u crashed 2 days later and killed urself, i dont feel like being responsible for it.
