Ok I have two different sides to this...
1. No one will ever initiate a race with me, I hear stories about people getting chased down in traffic and revved on, it has NEVER happened to me. Now I have one of the more quiet BOV's although it is vented, you have to really listen for it, but more of that in part 2...
2. Getting people to notice is a different story. I have a T25, and I reach max boost around 2800-3000rpm. That is with daily driving, no need to floor it. So that mean the turbo easily begins to spool down low around 2000rpm. The problem is no matter how fast I get up to speed or how slow I'm going I ALWAYS blow off. Example - last weekend I rolled into Kroger to meet some of my friends, as I passed some group of people, I shifted and let out a little "pssshh", not on purpose at all. Maybe it was the lack of knowledge about cars or that they were just total assholes, but they go and start cheering trying to make fun of me
So if you were there (I won't name any names, I did recognize one or two of you) you are dumb as shit.
So getting a race? No, but getting people to notice isn't hard.

anytime i am in the lightning i get revved at and chased down..... all the young ricers will look at me and rev liek hell and make it soudn liek they are aobut to blow their car up..its pretty funny! after the shift kit was put on, i learned how to chirp the tires ont he 1-2 so thats fun to do to them....LOL.......anyhow, noone fun ever revs. just the dumbasses who think cuz i am a girl i cant drive my truck.
well I have cruised quite a bit and I kinda get the same thing...no one ever seems to rev or want to race...the only times I have had someone that seemed to was a Turboed Teg that came up and dumped his BOV in my window..I was like WTF.
I'm mean I like to race and get into my ride but not against something I know I have no chance w/ in my little 1.5 SOHC..but it does the job for now..
