there's a wealth of "car knowledge" out there... but it's nearly impossible to be know everything all at once... most people jus focus on one aspect then move on to another when they understand it better... it takes time to truly be a good "tuner, enthusiast, racer, etc etc"... so don't think you can go to Rice Boys or Ricer Zone, pick up an intake and and air freshener and think your car is gonna run 10s... it's definitely the wrong mentality to have when you're learning about cars... slowly but surely you'll get the shit down... and to your boyfriend, i've seen mad people that jus had "honda civics" that wreck shop... friend of mine dropped an H22a in his and jus last week snapped a STAGE 2 AXLE... the company that made em sent him a set of stage 3s for FREE... so, despite the fact that i hate hondas (civics especially), i have respect for the people that get serious and make power... so stop shoppin at Advance and go to a REAL shop and get some REAL work done... maybe you and your girl could learn together... </end rant>
