Its not all about power but more about efficency Im sure he didnt have anything fancy but 200w can get pretty decent numbers.

Most high-end amps are rated considerably lower than what they can actually produce. It could be 200w@8 ohms and like 700@2 ohms.

speaking from experience....it's better than having a busted window in December with shards of glass sticking into your arse on the way to work in sub-freezing temperatures.

Or than having to replace a $1k+ convertible top. (praying that never happens)
