Hey Guys, Maybe try Carb cleaner instead of the Starter fluid. Carb cleaner burns more like gasoline, Starting fluid explodes (its ether). If there is a timing issue, and you use ether, it could cause some mechanical damage. Use the conventional Carb cleaner like 2+2 brand. Don't use Brake clean or the Non-Chlorinated type. If it starts on the carb cleaner check to see if you have voltage on one side of the injector with the key on. Then see if you have a intermittent ground signal on the other side of the injector while the engine is being cranked over. If there is no voltage on the first side, check your resistor box or power source to the box. If you haven't got the grounding signal on the other side of the injector, it is in the dist, ecu or wiring in the circuit. If you need more help while you are there hit me up before you leave and I will give you my e-mail or phone number too.

if you have a test light you connect the probe end to one wire and the clip at the other end to a small flat head or a pick and have some one crank it if it flashes that is good but if not the cam sensor in the distributor is bad

Re: Civic wont start!! Help please!!!
So Im in florida and I got the car started. It seemed like the fuel pump was not coming on, and I started it with starting fluid. Then I had it running for a couple of days, just at idle and yesterday I pumped out all of the old gas by hard wiring the fuel pump and put in new gas. Now it wont start at all, Im thinking it may be the relay. The car has spark, and I have a fuel pressure gauge, when it cranks over it shows 45psi on the fuel pressure gauge. The car now does not start with either the fuel pump or starting fluid. Any ideas? Thanks
