I saw a crx, automatic, ls engine, at the greenville show a couple months back... 10 sec quarter... he used level 10 shit, so check that out too (and uh yeah, if you wanna spray on it, get some zex and the converter, they're made to work together nicely! )
spraying on a honda's auto transmission will only last but so long. the torque converter wont help prevent any damage being done to it. and the automatic crx that is in the 10s probably uses an automatic so he doesnt snap axles. SCC's drag CRX had the same issue. but it could barely even be called an automatic transmission.. it was fully built for racing. if you want to go fast in a honda, make sure its not an auto. take this for example...

mike (flowfx) ran a shot on his manual h23 prelude with the same bolt-ons i had on my prelude and ran low 14s all day in the quarter. i ran a 65 shot on my automatic prelude and got smoked by doug (pimpinainteasy) who from what i last heard was in the mid 14s.

Pimpin, if you want to go fast with an automatic, buy a v8 or something with good torque.

SAFEST things you can do is lower the civic. Intake, headers, exhaust. Then maybe get some rims.

if you want speed, think about NOS or turbo.
