I work up here in DC (TS). Im no longer on a HD. I am now a PM at Walter Reed. Also DC and Hampton Roads pay totally different. Also most IT places up here we work 4 day work schedules and telecommute alot.

All you really need a basic computer knowledge. Everything that you have to do can easily be learned. It is easy to get a job on NMCI, but you may have to wait if you are going directly through EDS. I have been with EDS for almost 3 months now and don't have any complaints, other then dealing with a few people now and then that feel like they know everything about the contract. I enjoy the job and the pay isn't too bad, considering they cover your Security Clearance.
