You still have to pay taxes on it though....i got screwed with that on a parts car I had on a trailer.

Yeah, still have to pay taxes. The city wants its money.

Its only a few bucks though.

Taxes are based on the blue book value of the car. You can set the price of a parts car, make it $100 and just pay the cost of a happy meal for taxes. If you're paying full price for a non- street legal car, you're pretty stupid.
