capital isnt to bad.. my first ever 12 sec pass was ran there... i think 75/80 when it was open was worst. hell i think even old domion was better then 75/80
Practice on what you have, before you get sticky tires.... if you can't drive on what you got, you don't need alot of bite, you will start breaking shit.... 2.0 60' are very easy to do on the shittest street tires.... Seat time will be you friend....
I am going to buy a set of wheel very soon 10-11lb each. Like you said, I have to launched while Vtec is engaging. I will get better than 15s next time.
you can't go into vtec unless the car is under a load, therefore you are not launching"in vtec" you can't rev any honda into vtec just sitting still. read up a little. 2.3"s???? dude you need to learn to walk before you run. try the "rolling off the line approach" it might work better for you. after you master that, then you can learn to launch. and the number one thing, "DON'T TENSE UP." think of a race at the track as a stop light to stop light run. no pressure, race the clock, not the other guy/girl in the other lane.
^^^thanks......I just bought this car and I need time to get used to it........ I did not know we can't launch while V-tech engaging hahaha... Looks like i have a lots to read...

that right there is some of the best advice you can get. you need not even think of the car in the lane next to you, instead concentrate on what your doing and race yourself trying to beat your own times. ppl tend to try too hard get "excited" and end up screwing thier launch all up. ending up with crappy 60' times and 1/4 mile times that could be much better.
and for the love of god, don't bother doing a burnout if you are on street tires it does absolutly nothing for you, "heating your tires" only works if you are running drag radials or slicks. i drive around the water box with no burnout, on 205/40/17 falken ziex 512's and cut 1.8 60' times all day long, practice is your friend.
