just to give you an idea. almost every prop in every music video from rap to rock is either rented or borrowed. videos are shot all over the world and you famous rapper lives in newyork and want to shoot a video in miami its cheaper for the production company to rent or borrow a ferrari in miami then it is to ship the rappers personnel vehicle from where he may live to the shoot location. its done for price reasons as well as insurance. many stars dont want there personnal vehicles in videos some do some are worried shit might happen to it. pharrel brought his enzo to fam lay shoot a few months ago but thats cause the shoot is right up the street from his house. its just the way things are done. if anybody has leads feel free to contact me.
