No, But I have a 95 GSR "Drag Car" if you will, for track use. Why fuck up a car as nice as mine at the track just so you can say hey my car ran 12's so its faster then you....

Why build up a car and dyno high numbers just so you can say "My car has over 300whp, so it's probably faster than you?" Will you drive it fast on the road? There will be some "grudge matches" as Corey said, this fall if you do.

"Theoretically, the car should run a 12.5"...LOL, sorry chris
. Honestly Josh, taking a type R and slapping a turbo on it and then saying it wont see a pass says something about how you feel its built and what not. Why not make a pass to see what it runs? You have like 3 other cars to replace it if something happens, which, if built right wont.hehe.

How are you gonna fuck up your car at the track? Have you not paid someone to put your directional tires on correctly yet or does it cost too much to pay someone to drive your car for you? I mean anyone can do dyno numbers whats the point if you don't see what it does at the track. Is a track car too good for the dyno?
wow.. this thread sure has revived the western forums, hehe.
i dunno. i don't really see the reason for not taking the car to the track. you're putting down great #'s. why would you race on the streets, where it's illegal, where there's a higher chance of fucking up your car, where you could get a ticket, rather than taking it to the track, where it's legal and a more controlled environment? i don't get that. the track is a great place because of the fact that if something SHOULD happen to your car, you can easily get help. maybe $15 is too much to pay to get in? then again... how much did you spend to slap that turbo? i don't care how many cars i would have. i'd still run them at the track just for fun. unless it's a daily beater or something, hehe.

Mugent3/t4e,
Have you ever run at a drag strip before? I am just wondering what happens diffrently at the strip that doesnt happen on the street. No one puts a gun to your head and makes you break your car. You drive it how you want to. And honestly, you are alot less likely to melt a piston or somthing at the strip then on the street because your EGTs are much lower to start, less stress on cooling system and shorter time on the throttle. I dont think you are in the power/torque range yet to be breaking axles yet, so that shouldnt be a concern either.
