Yeah, I don't know what they did wrong there.

I've seen stock S2000s go 13.7. I'm sure there are real world faster times for the Z, too.

I drove a 350z today and was impressed by the handling and power, but it just felt weird. The dash was sooooo ugly I couldn't get over it. It also had a lot of extra space.

2000yr S2000 has weak synchros, and a plastic top. They fixed the problem later that year, 2002 has the glass top but a thinner sway bar. The interior is a lot more like the cockpit of a jet.

I wouldn't race a Z anymore though....

There are mods to disengage the airbag but you need to have NHTSA approval before you can do that. Which apparently isn't hard to do.

 

My S2000 went 13.9 @99 w/ a 2.0 60' when it was stock. You can't use a magazine to decide what car is faster.

 

ap2 sk2 with a hardtop is hotttt.

just drive both cars and see which one you like.

 

I want to add, I couldn't find a comfortable position in the Z, I adjusted it forever but no comfort!!!

The S, can't find an uncomfortable position... at least for the first 600mi.

350 doesn't have blind spots, rather it has a blind region everywhere around the car.

 

Both gorgeous cars-

I have not driven either, but sat in a cople. I love the look of the S2k, and the Z. The Z in my opinion can sound much better (but I have heard terrible).

performance wise both are close enough where will it accutally matter? so if u plan on making it a project car decide what u would do for each car and price it and see which is easier...if u dont plan on modding it, just get what u think looks better.
