Hey Mustang Fags... tell me how to get 300+ rwhp out of a 5.0 NA.
(I'm not saying ~2500-2800 TFS packages are alot, but comparing that to a >500 GT40 poackage of an Explorer, its a big differnce in price)
Heres an interesting article I found a while back.

PM Nic, he is very knowledgable about SBF motors. Another good one is Fatboyee or ICULOKN both have some nasty single digit foxbodies.
You should make good power from that HCI trickflow package. I got tfs heads, stage 2 trickflow cam with edelbrock upper and lower intakes. Before the blower install I was making 290rwhp with that setup. Oh forgot to mention that was with 42lb injectors due that the blower was going to be installed shortly after.
In my personal opinion AFR heads are some of the best heads, on my old mustang i was running AFR 165 heads, GT 40 intake, 70mm trottle body, E303 cam, bbk CAI, mac shortie headers with full mac exhaust. And it put down 256 rwhp 299 rwtq with stock injectors, maf, distributer and was untuned. I beleive it would have put down more if i had the supporting injectors, maf, ect. I believe the AFR 185 heads are good to run with a stock application which are better than the 165 heads and i believe there is some supporting information about AFR heads on some of the mustang sites. If i can find some links for you i'll post them up. They say its 70+ hp over stock application but i'm sure thats with some supporting mods.
+1 for the AFR heads. Not that there aren't other good heads out there, as have been mentioned, but as I have researched, AFR's are some of the best.
Might I also mention that AEM makes an EMS for the 5.0 EFI?
