I am super excited about this.
That was my point... It's cheaper to ripoff existing work, so why not?
At least they're not as bad as the Chinese brands though, who make an almost identical duplicate and change the grill shape and headlights/taillights slightly. The stylists must be better with Photoshop than anything else..

sounds like the new 240sx everyone seems to want to come out on some other forums. i personally dont like the styling, but the platform of rwd turbo coupe sounds really nice.
it will still be a hyundai tho.

It has a few too many character/body lines IMO, but that is almost always the case with Hyundai (& Pontiac). I'm curious to see what the curb weight will be too.
well i am excited as well, we have 10-12 hyundai sonata v-6's in our rental fleet, and after driving the 3.3l v-6 model,i am very impressed with it. the new tibby should be as fast or faster. the hyundai made a trip to the track back in september. all stock a 14.98 was acheived, not too shabby for a 2987 pound car.
Also I don't know what the 2 liter turbo will be, but my guess would be the GEMA engine (a joint effort between Hyundai, Mitsubishi, & the now defunct Daimler-Chrysler.) If so that will be the same basic motor that will be in the EVO as a 2L and the Caliber SRT-4 as a 2.4L.
