to recap, the underbody of my car scraped at the MONSTER speed bump at collegiate court when i was stock height, so definitley don't go there (I didn't know that speed bump was so infamous, i thought it was just me). I got a kit on my car now so you are not gonna catch me in there. Going to subway is out of the question. If u want a sub that bad do a little walking and park somewhere else near it. And you being a freshman and if you live in a dorm, u r not really gonna drive until the weekend anyways. So you'll be good, drop that badboy.

Snow doesn't cause accidents; drivers do.

i agree most accidents in the snow are from people driving too fast for the conditions, but there are a few spots in blacksburg that its impossible to drive through the snow. coming down the hill on mainstreet approaching crossroads and woodys is a good example of that. if there is any ice or snow on the road you'll slide down the hill and have no chance of stopping at the light. i heard there were a lot of accidents there for that reason last winter.

It's not that bad, most of the numnuts that wrecked in that area decided they wanted to stop or slow down when they were on the hill instead of well before it.

You say that until you hit a patch of ice. For example me and mike were riding to my fraternity house and we were seriously driving about 5-10mph at absolute max because the weather was so bad and we didnt wanna wreck, and coming around a turn the car just began sliding and went off the road. It wasnt a bad wreck and nothing was damaged, but it was an example of how shit can go wrong and have it be out of your control. One of the reasons I wont drive my car in the snow.

say that to me when your making a turn slightly down hill in Terrace view (across from the club house) going 5-10mph and the car isn't turning anywhere.. nothing's gonna stop you till you hit that curb... worst feeling in the world knowing your gonna hit and can't do shit about....
