RIP Allan. He was a good guy. He was a Territory Manager for Wolseley NA(owns Ferguson). He will be missed.

On a side note - the story in the paper does not add up... he was a good guy, long military career, recently married. No reason to "run" from police.

The story in the paper matches up almost identical from what I heard from multiple people who witnessed the account first hand. The only part that I think was "buffered" in the Daily Press story was the part about the cops not pursuing. I definitely heard otherwise on that part.

I'm sorry you lost a friend and I hope he rests in peace, but it's been said many times on here before, good people make bad decisions, unfortunately he paid the ultimate price .

If you look at the comments below the article there's something in there about his license being suspended.

***Edit*** It was on there earlier but they removed the comment. One person has it quoted in their post so you can read it though.
