Maybe they want to hear the sweet change over, you are correct though I myself wouldn't downsize just for the vtec,its overrated, I just wanted to make a point. Honestly I wouldn't even invest in the money for a vtec head, think about it put a cam in the ls thats the same size or bigger than the primary vtec lobe and wham. Granted no cool noises and you don't save as much gas,thats all variable valve timing is good for to me.

well i have a complete b16a that came out of my old ef hatch but it has a spun rod bearing. I was gonna do an ls/vtec build until i pulled the head off the b16 and noticed that the #4 combustion chamber was all f***** up and that one of the valves had dropped, and i didnt know if it could be rebuilt. im gonna go take a couple pics of it real quick if u guys think u can tell if it can be rebuilt.
And thanks for all the help you guys i really apreciate it.

Look, i've built numerous motors both with and without variable valve timing. Both Nissan and honda and I will be MORE than happy to show you I know what i'm talking about,but I think this is all little bit past you. Whats vtecH stand for? Id love to know...thought they were phones?

I just want to see what you have to back up your claim, yes maybe stock for stock vtec head and cam makes more power but if you know anything about cam profiles and power bands you would know what i'm saying.

you are a dumb ass. B20s have THICKER cylinder walls, just the inner 2 cylinders are siameased together and thats where the myth that they are thinner come from.
