I far as the starting rate I myself can not get into that because that would be something my boss would have to negotiate. This job is by no means going to set you for life. It has been for me and many others a "betweener" job. It has helped me afford to have fun threw my college years but that has come to an end (new job) and now this why the position is open.

I can mention some perks of the job though!

*A lot of down time
*Get killer deals on electronics, movies, firearms(if age) and so on...
*Something new everyday, wether it be selling jewerly, wiring up electronics, buying goods, selling goods, negotiating with customers(very fun!) or messing around with music equipment
*The employees here are always cool, no bitching or complaing, and the boss is one of the best boss I have ever had.
*Besides helping customers basic jobs would be just cleaning up and organizing, or anything.. and I mean anything. I have spent countless hours getting dirt bikes running or rebuilding carburators on weedeaters so....

Yes it is. However, why would you waste time in a pawn shop making nothing? Think, cobalt driver. Think

well if you don't have a job in the first place 8.00 or 10.00 bucks an hour is better then your unemployment check or nothing at all.

i currently work at cash converters in the k mart shopping center, i have a jewlers liscence and i am trained with buying and selling jewlery, not to mention electronics, car audio, and anything else that walks through the door at cash converters,

if the price is right i would love to come and work for a new company,
unfortunatly i work my logistics job during the day so i would only be able to work at nights from 4-close, also i cannot work weekends

but PM me if you are interested in myself

- ps i have worked in the second hand retail buisness for almost 3 years now, first as full time, then as part time
