shifter question.
Come on guys, all that aftermarket stuff is crap!
If you truely want a nice tight (like new) shifter then go down to your local Honda dealership with about $35.00 and buy a complete OEM bushing kit.
I've done it to both my 95 EX and 88 CRX Si and it is far better than the Energy Suspension Shifter bushing kit.
Trust me...just do it!
Bushing, RR. Change lever joint - 54107-SA0-010 x 2 = $ 3.25
Collar, RR. Change lever joint - 54117-SH3-000 x 1 = $ 8.55
Washer, Change lever thrust - 54105-692-010 x 2 = $ 2.56
O-ring (11X1.9) - 91303-HA0-004 x 4 = $ 0.79
Seal, Dust - 54115-SH3-000 x 1 = $ 7.63
Rubber, Shifter linkage - 54303-SB2-010 x 1 = $ 5.16

100% true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Check all the joints at the tranny for the linkage. Mine worked themselves a little loose and it felt terrible. It looks like a knuckle, also the bushing in the one that bolts to the tranny with 12 or 14 and the huge flat washer. Just throwing out suggestions man.
I mentioned that already...Rubber, Shifter linkage - 54303-SB2-010 x 1 = $ 5.16
But as for the knuckle, yes they do become loose over time. There's not much you can do about it except to replace it. The knuckle may give you a lttle play, but the bushings are 99% of the time the culprit

okay, here is the question
Integra shifter is shorter then my stock Civic shifter correct?
So what im thinking is, i use an integra shifter with my SI shiftlinkage and replace the bushings. Would give me a nice shorter throw(because of the height difference) And a tighter feel (because of the bushings)
