im pretty sure you mean a slightly larger socket(larger than the lug) this teqnique works well with stripped star lug locks. it this dosent work youll have to get them cut off like i had to, lees tires charges like 10 a lug so it can get expensive. the advance auto kits come off with a regular ratchet tho.
